Webinar Series 2025
DECEMBER 8TH 2025, 7:30-8:30PM Considerations for professional wellbeing and sustainability in the context of vicarious trauma and burnout
As the festive season approaches, it is worth remembering to use this time too to 'fill your cup', rest, recoup and reflect on your practice as a play therapist. Have you ever considered your own well being in terms of vicarious trauma and burnout, especially when working in isolation? Using a hypothetical case study Debbie hopes to reflect on aspects of what vicarious trauma and burnout may look like in the life of a play therapist in private practice and what can be done to avoid it.

OCTOBER 20TH 2025, 7:30-8:30PM Self-care and well-being through an expressive art exercise.
Self-care is attending to your well-being and nurturing that.
This Webinar will help: focus on what is important to youmake abstract ideas and thoughts concretehighlight concepts to explore in supervision or personal developmentkeep visible the areas the want to focus on.
It can be revisited, reviewed and updated over the coming months or years.
Colour and image have a faster route to our unconscious and subconscious than words.
This expressive arts activity brings both right and left brain, images and words, to create something new and concrete for your well-being.
What we focus on grows. Get your goals and ideas out of the morass (swamp) of your head where they can hide out forever. What we share with others intensifies. Communicate them with someone so that you are held accountable and more likely to achieve them.
